PROFILE I was raised in a musical family on a high country sheep station in the back of beyond in NS's North Island. At boarding School I discovered singing and had lessons and became the lead in all the shows. I was a member of the Operatic Society in Wellington and also made TV commercials. My main career was as a Children's dentist but after my two daughters were off to school I went back to study and taught primary school for ten years. During this time I learnt classical guitar and majored in creative music for small children. A career move to Auckland for my husband became a career move for me too. I became a Gift and House ware owner for another ten years and then became a charity Queen when I sold the shop. My daughter was an out of work actress so I led the charge for The Performing Arts, raising money for all Opera, Dance, Musicians and Theatre. I also raised money for Children's Hospital and Respite Homes. Since I moved to Australia I have changed my Life with a new partner and home, and now feel it's time to put back into the community. I enjoy being a clown but have family health issues that require me to visit NZ regularly so feel I am not pulling my weight with the clowns yet but hope to remedy this in 2011. I also have plans to join a choir and a theatrical group when I have finished my travelling which we do twice a year. I was asked to sing the Australian national anthem at the Royal Flying Doctors fund raising lunch two years ago at the university and decided to get back to performing again so here I am.
