Coastal Caring Clowns

PROFILE

Glennys was born in Brisbane 40 years and some months ago. She attended Boondall State
Primary and received her secondary education at Sandgate State High and then attended
Secretarial College. Glennys worked for a time as a shop assistant but then married Ian and
moved to a property west of Dalby, Queensland. They have two sons, a daughter and one
granddaughter. Ian and Glennys are now retired and living in Sippy Downs. They would like
to travel but there is a bit of a problem. Ian has a burning desire to sail around the world but
Glennys insists that she will fly wherever they might go. Soooo, it may be a while before
there is an agreement on the mode of transport!

Glennys saw an article about the information day at Buderim earlier in the year and came
along to investigate the clowns. She joined and has now been actively clowning for over 2
years and has enthusiastically learned as much as she can about clowning and is particularly
interested in balloon sculpting, magic tricks and coping with all the different situations in
which the Coastal Caring Clowns Inc. find themselves.

These are her own words:

"I am at the delicate age where I don't remember things or what I'm doing at times. So bear
with me if I seem like a goose sometimes, (well all of the time) eventually the brain kicks in".

Glennys has been a valuable find for our group. If you want a real fun outing, go clowning
