PROFILE

Hi everyone my clown name is Pom,

I was born.................. that surprised my mother; she thought she was too old. It was 1937
so I was just in time for the Second World War. We lived in Middlesex, England, very close to
what is now Heathrow Airport.

My childhood memories are of course, all full of the Second World War and its horrors, but
hey that's another story.

After lots of jobs, getting married and watching my children being born I thought they need
something better, so we came to Australia in 1974. It was the best thing ever! I worked in
Sydney until retirement in 1994, and then moved to the Sunshine Coast.

I have had the pleasure of watching my three little girls grow up, and now enjoy all my
grandchildren and great-grandson, who thinks I'm blind because everyone says "you have
Poppy's eyes."

Joining up with Coastal Caring Clowns has given me yet another chance to bring a little fun
into someone's life. Smiles make me very happy, and if it's a child that's wonderful.

So there you go, if I was a puppy I'd wag my tail.
