Sunshine

PROFILE

"Sunshine" was the name given to me by a close friend, so it wasn't too difficult to
appropriate it to my clown persona. I hope that I bring Sunshine to many people as my
years of clowning roll on.

My name is Ricky Lynch ,Ulrike if you like to get a bit technical, from a German migrant
family, we came to Oz in 1954 and haven't looked back or wanted to!! (did a few trips
alright).

A fine childhood in Newcastle NSW, followed by quite a few years in Gunnedah, then various
moves and businesses since. It was pig farming, horse training, karate teaching, motel
owning, personal training, running hotels for parents, owning bottle shops…, being wife and
mother.

The kids are 4 in number, all bigger and uglier than ourselves, with varying degrees and
occupations, we're now blessed with 2 little ones (no degrees, diplomas in screeching!!)

Joe and myself happily reside on Mt Mellum,…AHHH.

I have a few passions. One is the environment, am walking that walk by being a volunteer
tour guide at Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve…lots of fun and a way of getting the message
across to the next generation. I love people, so every 3 weeks give plasma at Nambour
blood bank and as a flow on from that I was excited to join the clowns so I could do a little
more…, and am having a really wonderful time doing so.

My most favourite job of all was being a pig farmer ………does that tell you anything about
me?????
No, I can't juggle, but do love to talk to old people.
